Sci-fi’s Saturday anime showings brought me back full force into watching anime because I caught the third Fatal Fury movie on there (and then went out and bought the trilogy).
I’m with you on that stupid Haruhi dance. The song is cute, it’s cute to watch it in the credits, and it’s utterly aggravating watching a bunch of nerds in costume dancing en masse at every freakin’ con/on youtube like they were the first people to think of doing it.
As for J-pop rap… well I don’t like rap in general, so it doesn’t make it any better in another language. However, I do know a song that’s considered K-pop, that attempts to be rap. I saw the music video for it on some obscure digital cable channel and laughed my ass off. It’s Jinusean’s “A-Yo!”:

Crappy anime… I don’t really know. I never watched a *lot* of anime when I did watch it. Naruto is the closest I’ve gotten to thinking that, because after one or two episodes and “sexy no jutsu”, I just wanted it to be dead.

You might get more comments if your screwed up your podcast. People like to point out things they don’t like, not so much the things they do. Generally, if people download the podcast and don’t post any comments, it means they like it as is.
The worst anime I’ve ever seen was some kid show that I don’t remember the name of, and honestly I don’t even remember the anime that well as I’ve tried to burn the memories from my brain. It was excessively weird.

The mention of Project A-ko brought a swarm of memories back. I barely remember the anime myself. It’s been years since I’ve watched anything old school.
The Haruhi dance is unbelievably overdone. It ranks up with any “300″ references, (i.e. “THIS IS –”)
That J-rap…rock…abomination thing…god my ears are still bleeding.
I have watched some crap ass anime…but none so horrific as that bobobobobobobobfuckingbobobob (I don’t know the actual title or how many goddamned “bos” it had in there.) show that should have never seen the light of day. It has that bizarre insanity(or stupidity as I usually refer to it as) that you either despise or you find hilarious.

Worst anime I’ve seen is a toss-up between three:
Knight Hunters was garbage. I know there are people who are big fans of it, but sorry, that show was garbage. Every single thing about it was half-assed.
Also, I know a lot of people apparently think Saiyuki’s pretty good. I dunno about the remade version I’ve heard about, but the first anime they released was a disaster, and I don’t care who says otherwise. I couldn’t churn through more than three episodes.
Also, Noir. That one was just stupid.

Ah, I recall another one that I just couldn’t force myself to watch. B’T X, I wouldn’t say it was bad, but I had no interest past the first 10 minutes.
I still have the entire series. Maybe I’ll try it again some day. Doubtful.
