1. Intro music too quiet. I thought the MP3 was broken when I first loaded it. I had to crank the volume to hear it. The outtro music was louder, but still rather quiet.

   I think the entire thing could use a volume boost. For the most part, your voice came through well enough, though.

   You might want to edit out the large audio gaps. Also, try to normalize the separate recording sessions. The volume changed a few times during the episode. I don’t know how much time you want to spend on these things.

   Lay down some low-volume music along with the entire thing to provide some background sound. That makes it sound professional for some reason.

2. Thanks for the comments.
   Yeah, this episode is a bit low-fi and all the audio wasn’t normalized or from the same sessions.

   I also forgot to normalize the intro and outro clips. Lazy, I know.

   Next week when I have more time, and can develop more content. I’ll be able to to the entire recording in one pass, and not worry about the audio levels changing from session to session.

   Any content comments?

3. Yeah, normalizing would be good, maybe edit out the clearing the throat too :P.

   But in the end it sounded better than anything I would do.

5. Needs more cowbell.

   Seriously though, I pretty much agree with what was already said. Especially that adding some light background music would sound really good.

   Can’t wait to hear the next one!

6. It was very funny but kinda switchy in volume, also I have dial up so that’s part of the problem….
   But it was truely enjoyable to listen to…

   You sound so different :D. In a good way of course.

   I would try not to rush things too much next time, and try recording all in one session.

   And, I already told you what you needed to fix anyways on the phone. So, I’m basically repeating myself.

10. I’m toying with the idea of taking down episode 1.
    I really feel that this episode sucks the big one. I could barely get through it :-p

11. Hmm i dont want to sound mean, but if someone bases whether or not they want to listen to the podcast on the first episode they might not listen to the entire podcast…..

    but i kind of want to keep so i have “the entire series” lolz
